London Garden Waste Clearance & Removal FAQs
How much does a London garden clearance cost?
Our large tipper trucks are usually well-suited for most London garden clearance scenarios. They can hold a total of 13.6 cubic metres and carry 3 tonnes in weight, which is the equivalent of hiring a 14-yard skip. Our garden rubbish removal prices start from as little as £110+VAT for a quarter load.
What is a garden clearance?
As the question suggests, we can clear all the unwanted waste and debris from your garden. This includes typical garden waste such a twigs, branches, brambles, grass clippings, soil, rotten decking, rusty garden tools, broken fencing and fence posts, all green garden waste, old sheds and even the heavier items such old slabs/patios blocks, soil and clay. In short, pretty much anything you’d find in an average London garden.
Will you do all the loading?
Yes. Our friendly, hardworking staff are quite happy to get stuck in and get their hands dirty! One of the main benefits of our London garden waste removal service is that you can simply tell us what needs removing and we’ll get the job done quickly and efficiently.
Can you take other items as well?
Definitely. It’s not just typical green garden waste we remove. We can also clear other items that you may have stored in a shed or garden garage that you no longer use. This can be anything from old tins or pots of unused paint, broken fridges; even old mattresses that you no longer need. Please bear in mind that for some items that require a more specialised method of disposal, we do have a surcharge. Get in touch and let us know and we’ll be happy to provide a quote for other items.
Can you take asbestos?
Unfortunately not. If you have an old garage in your garden that you’ve pulled down and it has an asbestos roof, this is a hazardous material that we’re not licensed to carry. You’ll need to hire a London asbestos removal company to deal with this type of hazardous garden waste.
I have a wasp nest in my garden, will you remove it?
No, we only clear London gardens of normal waste. We can’t dispose of things like wasp nests or any other type of garden pests. You’ll need to contact a London pest control company for this.
Will you cut down and remove trees?
Unfortunately, there are limits to what we do. Whilst we can clear your London garden of twigs and branches that are bagged or scattered around, you’ll need to hire the services of a London tree surgeon for this type of work. They’re trained to climb and dismantle trees correctly and safely. If they leave a mess behind, we can certainly clear this type of garden waste.
What if I want to take my time and do it myself?
We cater for that too. The best option is to hire one of our skips instead. This is ideal if you have a driveway because you won’t need a permit and you can load all your unwanted garden waste into the skip in your own time. This is perfect for those lazy summer days where you can clear your garden bit by bit over the course of a week or two. If you don’t have a driveway and don’t want a skip outside your London home, you can opt for our wait and load service instead. Bear in mind that if you choose this method over our garden clearance tipper trucks and staff, you’ll have to load the skip with your garden waste yourself.
